K634 Fine Grain for Clean Automotive Styling

XZ60016 features a K634 fine grain with a compact and evenly distributed surface texture. Compared with larger litchi or pebble grains, the finer texture creates a more restrained and consistent appearance across car seat cushions, backrests and interior panels.

The surface can be developed in black, grey, brown, beige and other automotive colors to match different cabin and seat designs.

0.65mm Construction with 90D Terry Backing

The 0.65mm construction keeps the material relatively lightweight and flexible, which is useful in seat areas where several layers meet around seams, folded edges and curved sections.

The 90D terry fabric backing provides textile support beneath the PVC surface while maintaining flexibility for cutting, sewing and wrapping. Compared with a generic terry backing specification, the defined 90D construction gives the material a clearer backing reference for projects that need more controlled material handling. Car Seat and Automotive Interior Applications

XZ60016 is suitable for seat cushions, backrests, seat covers, headrests, armrests and selected automotive interior trim.

These components require a balance between flexibility and backing support. In curved seat sections, the material needs enough conformity to avoid excessive wrinkling, while sewn areas need sufficient dimensional control to maintain seam alignment.

Depending on the finished-part specification, requirements such as abrasion resistance, tear strength, seam strength, color stability, cold flexibility and backing stability can be matched according to the customer’s automotive validation standard.
