Fine Litchi Grain for Automotive Seat Surfaces

XZ73255 features a fine litchi grain with a dense, evenly distributed leather-like texture. Compared with larger pebble or coarse litchi patterns, the smaller grain scale creates a cleaner and more controlled appearance across seat cushions, backrests and side panels.

The embossed surface can be developed in black, brown, grey, beige and other automotive interior colors, allowing the material to coordinate with different seat and cabin designs.

0.7mm Construction with 28G 3+1 Knitted Backing

Car seat upholstery needs enough flexibility to follow seat cushions, bolsters and curved panels, but excessive stretch can create distorted cutting dimensions, uneven seams or wrinkles after installation.

The 0.7mm PVC construction keeps the material relatively light and manageable around stitched seams, folded edges and shaped seat sections. The 28G 3+1 knitted fabric backing provides a fine textile support structure while maintaining the flexibility required for curved upholstery work.

For different seat structures, elongation and recovery should be matched to the cutting direction and installation method so the finished panel remains stable after stretching and sewing.

XZ73255 is suitable for seat cushions, backrests, side bolsters, headrests and selected armrest upholstery.

These areas are exposed to repeated sitting pressure, friction, body movement, cleaning and cabin temperature changes. Depending on the vehicle program, customers may specify requirements such as abrasion resistance, seam strength, tear resistance, color stability, heat aging, low-temperature flexibility and backing elongation.

These performance requirements can be matched according to the finished-seat standard and customer validation requirements.

Material Matching for Seat Manufacturing

Grain appearance, backing construction and elongation behavior can be adjusted according to the seat shape and upholstery process.

For highly contoured cushions and bolsters, controlled stretch can help the material follow the seat geometry. At the same time, excessive elongation should be avoided where cutting accuracy and seam alignment are important.

Samples can be evaluated through the customer’s actual cutting, sewing and seat-cover installation process before bulk production.
