J582 Litchi Grain for Automotive Upholstery

XZ60111 features a J582 litchi grain with a compact and evenly distributed leather-like texture. The grain is fine enough to maintain a clean automotive appearance while still providing visible surface character across seat cushions, backrests and side panels.

The material can be produced in black, brown, grey, beige and other automotive interior colors to match different seat and cabin designs.

0.7mm PVC with Terry Fabric Backing

Automotive seat upholstery needs enough flexibility to follow cushions, bolsters and curved seat panels while remaining manageable during cutting, sewing and edge wrapping.

The 0.7mm PVC construction keeps the material relatively thin around seams and folded areas, helping reduce unnecessary build-up where multiple layers meet. The terry fabric backing adds textile support to the PVC surface and provides a more stable structure for upholstery handling, sewing and wrapping.

For different seat designs, backing density, stretch behavior and overall material flexibility can be adjusted according to the required forming and sewing process.

XZ60111 is suitable for seat cushions, backrests, side bolsters, headrests, armrests and automotive seat covers.

These areas experience repeated sitting pressure, friction, body movement, cleaning and cabin temperature changes. Depending on the vehicle program, customers may require specific levels of abrasion resistance, tear strength, seam strength, color stability, heat aging and backing stability.

These performance requirements can be matched according to the finished-seat standard and customer validation requirements.

Material Matching for Car Seat Production

Grain appearance, backing structure and material flexibility can be adjusted according to the seat geometry and upholstery process.

For curved cushions and side bolsters, the material needs enough flexibility to follow the shape without creating excessive wrinkles. At the same time, seam areas require sufficient backing stability so the material remains controlled during sewing and installation.

Samples can be evaluated through the customer’s actual cutting, sewing and seat-cover installation process before bulk production.
