J582 Litchi Grain for Versatile Upholstery

XZ73211 features a J582 litchi grain with a compact, irregular leather-like texture. The grain is visible enough to create natural surface character without appearing excessively coarse, making it suitable for both automotive interiors and contemporary furniture upholstery. Solid colors such as black, brown, beige, grey and other custom shades can be developed to match different car cabins, sofas and furniture collections.

0.7mm PVC with Terry Fabric Backing

The 0.7mm construction keeps the material relatively flexible and easy to handle around stitched panels, folded edges and curved upholstery sections. The terry fabric backing provides textile support without creating excessive material bulk, which is useful during cutting, sewing, wrapping and assembly.

For automotive seating, this structure can help the material follow cushions, backrests and side sections while maintaining manageable seam thickness. For sofas and furniture, the same construction offers flexibility for cushions, armrests and upholstered panels where the material needs to bend and wrap cleanly around edges.

XZ73211 is suitable for car seat upholstery, automotive seat covers, headrests, armrests, sofa cushions, sofa backrests and selected furniture upholstery panels.

Automotive seating is exposed to repeated friction, body movement, cleaning and cabin temperature changes, while sofa upholstery must also withstand repeated sitting, flexing, seam loading and edge wrapping. Depending on the target application, requirements such as abrasion resistance, tear strength, seam performance, color stability and backing stability can be matched according to the customer’s finished-product standards.

Material Matching for Upholstery Projects

The J582 grain, surface finish, color and terry backing specification can be adjusted according to the finished product and manufacturing process.

For automotive seat projects, backing stability and material flexibility can be matched to curved seat panels and sewing requirements.
