Litchi Grain for Automotive Interior Surfaces

XZ60039 features a compact litchi grain with a natural leather-like texture suitable for modern automotive interiors. The grain is fine enough to maintain a clean appearance across larger seat and trim panels while still providing visible surface character.

Black, grey, brown, beige and other automotive colors can be developed to coordinate with different cabin designs.

0.8mm PVC with Melange Fabric Backing

The 0.8mm construction provides more body than very thin wrapping grades while remaining flexible enough for seat cushions, backrests and shaped interior panels.

The melange fabric backing provides a relatively balanced textile structure beneath the PVC layer. This type of backing is useful where stable lamination, dimensional control and similar warp-and-weft elongation are important during cutting, sewing and upholstery assembly.

For automotive production, backing weight, density and elongation can be matched according to the finished component and forming requirements.

Automotive Upholstery Applications and Performance Requirements

XZ60039 is suitable for car seat cushions, backrests, side bolsters, armrests, door-panel inserts and selected dashboard or interior trim applications.

Different areas place different demands on the material. Seat surfaces require good resistance to repeated friction and seam loading, while door panels and wrapped trim require stable bonding and controlled forming. Depending on the vehicle project, requirements such as abrasion resistance, tear strength, seam strength, heat aging, color stability, peel strength and backing elongation can be matched to the finished-part standard.

Material Matching for Automotive Projects

Surface grain, color, backing construction and elongation behavior can be adjusted according to the finished automotive component.

For seat upholstery, the material should maintain enough flexibility for curved panels while retaining control around seams and cut pieces. For door panels and other wrapped trim, backing stability and bonding compatibility become more important.

Samples can be evaluated through the customer’s actual cutting, sewing, lamination and upholstery process before bulk production.
